Peru Tour For Women

A journey through ancient civilizations, dramatic landscapes and living culture

Are you interested in experiecning the magic of Peru on a thoughtfully designed small group journey for women? This immersive 12 day adventure takes you deep into the heart of the Andes, blending iconic archaeological wonders with breathtaking scenery, rich traditions and unforgettable cultural encounters.

We begin in Lima, where colonial history and contemporary life intertwine. From fascinating museums and historic mansions to vibrant neighbourhoods and exceptional cuisine, the capital offers the perfect introduction to Peru’s layered past and present. From here, we travel to the Peruvian altiplano, arriving at the shores of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world and the legendary birthplace of Inca mythology. Cruising across its shimmering waters, we meet Quechua speaking communities who preserve centuries old weaving traditions and ways of life.

The journey continues across the dramatic high plateau toward the Sacred Valley, where snowcapped peaks frame ancient villages, terraced hillsides and remarkable Inca engineering. In Ollantaytambo, one of the best preserved Inca towns in South America, history feels wonderfully alive as water channels still flow through stone streets first laid centuries ago. Visits to artisan villages, archaeological sites and striking natural landscapes reveal the ingenuity and spirituality of the Inca civilization.

The highlight for many is the awe inspiring citadel of Machu Picchu. Hidden high in the mountains and surrounded by mist and jungle, this legendary site is as moving as it is beautiful. No photograph quite prepares you for standing among its stone terraces and temples. We end our journey in Cusco, a captivating city where Inca foundations support ornate colonial churches, markets bustle with colour and women in traditional dress stroll cobblestone streets. With time to explore, shop for textiles and celebrate together, Cusco provides a memorable finale to this extraordinary journey.
