Kenya Safari For Women

A wildlife safari across Ol Pejeta, Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru  and Masai Mara Game Reserve

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Womens Travel Network’s exclusive Kenya safari for women, where we’ll explore the birthplace of the classic safari. Kenya boasts some of the continent’s most renowned reserves, offering unparalleled game viewing opportunities. Get ready to witness Africa’s iconic ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, and leopard) as we journey overland in our comfortable pop-top safari vehicles, accompanied by experienced safari guides.

Our safari adventure begins in Nairobi, from where we’ll traverse the rugged, semi-desert landscapes of the Samburu region in the Rift Valley. In the vast savannah, we’ll have the chance to encounter majestic lions, swift cheetahs, imposing hippos, and graceful elephants. At the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, we’ll marvel at the incredible diversity of wildlife, including high densities of lion prides.

The highlight of our journey awaits at the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, famous for its exceptional game viewing opportunities. Here, is where the annual migration, where hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra herds attract the attention of formidable predators.

Throughout our safari, we’ll be treated to a blend of comfortable lodge and tented camp accommodations, immersing ourselves in the serene beauty of the African wilderness. Experience the raw magnificence of Africa’s outstanding landscapes and wildlife on this extraordinary adventure.

Don’t miss your chance to join a group of friendly women on this unforgettable journey. Book your spot on Womens Travel Network’s Kenya safari for women today!

Easy
We will be doing most of our game viewing from the comfort of our pop-top safari vehicles, as it is illegal to get out and walk in the parks. The elevations do change as we travel around Tanzania with the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater at approximately 3400 metres and the Serengeti National Park at an elevation of slightly less than 2000 metres. Note that roads are frequently bumpy and dusty, and you should be prepared for this. Please contact our office for further information.

We are staying in a wonderful mix of lodge and tented camp accommodation. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers and WC, hot and cold water, beds with mosquito nets, hair dryers and tea/coffee making facilities. The Sweetwaters Serena Camp tents have canvas interiors, solid floors and permanent roofs.  Lodges and camps have been selected for their exceptional views in wildlife rich environments.

During this tour
We use 4-wheel drive safari vehicles driven by an English speaking safari guide. By limiting each vehicle to a maximum of 6 participants, we’ll each have a window seat to enjoy the best possible views of wildlife.
