Thailand Tour For Women

A colourful tour of ancient and modern, filled with architectural masterpieces and beautiful beaches

This is our favourite way to experience Thailand. You’ll experience the chaos of Bangkok right off the bat, then will move north to charming old kingdoms through rice fields, and finally will relax on the magical island of Phuket. The hectic hub of southeast Asia, Bangkok will invigorate your senses as you admire its wonderful temples and sacred Buddhas.

You’ll spend a few days in this city before moving on to Thailand’s ancient capital of Ayutthaya, which offers a fascinating glimpse of ancient Siam’s splendour. You’ll visit the old Royal Summer Palace and observe the ruins of the old city.

You’ll then continue north through the rolling countryside to Sukhothai, the first capital of the Thai Nation and the cradle of Thai civilization for more than 700 years. Now a national Historical Park, you’ll discover its many treasures, including the impressive Wat Mahathai. Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai will be your last stops in the north, and you’ll relish the distinctive charm of these ancient cities, buying handicrafts in Chiang Mai and cruising by boat to remote hill tribe villages from Chiang Rai.

Your journey ends in Phuket, where you will soak up the sun on pristine beaches, explore hidden coves, and experience some of the best seafood in the region.

Moderate
This trip is suitable for anyone in good health. You must be comfortable walking on uneven terrain and irregular paving and climbing stairs. You should be comfortable walking for about 2 to 3 hours at a stretch.

We stay in a mix of four star plus hotels for most of this trip. Please note that not all hotels have elevators.

During this tour
We will be travelling in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle driven by a professional driver. While roads are mostly paved except on rural back roads, there are not always divided highways. The traffic is slower and at times heavily laden vehicles are part of the mix. Therefore, we cannot expect to cover distances as quickly as we might in North America. Some of the travel days will be somewhat long, but we will have regular stops along the way.

Joining Instructions
The tour commences with a group transfer from the Bangkok airport to the hotel.  (based on group flight schedule) The tour ends with a group transfer to the Phuket airport for your flight home.

International Flights
*Roundtrip international flights are not included in the cost of your tour and must be arranged separately. Our team are happy to assist you in booking your flights, this way we can do our best to keep the group together. If you’d prefer to book your own flights, please check with us first to ensure the trip has been confirmed before booking and to verify the timing of these group transfers to ensure your flight schedule fits our program. When you book a pre or post trip night with Worldwide Quest, your airport transfer will be included. If you are making your own pre or post trip arrangements, these transfers can be provided at an additional cost.

We expect clear sunny skies with average daytime temperatures between 23°C and 28°C and overnight lows of about 15°C. Most sites we visit have some shade, but the sun is strong, especially in Phuket, so a sunhat and sun glasses are highly recommended.

You will require a passport for this trip. Please ensure it is valid for at least 6 months beyond your scheduled return date. Canadian citizens do not require a visa for Thailand.  Further information will be provided at 90 days prior to departure.

If you are travelling on your own and would like to share accommodation, we would be happy to try to match you with a suitable roommate. We do our best to ask each woman some questions to help our matchmaking process 🙂
If we are unable to find you the right match, the single cost applies.

Travel twice with us and we’ll say a special thank you by taking 5% off all your subsequent trips. The bonus applies to our brochure trips only, is non-transferrable, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or credit.  Note that some exceptions may apply as indicated on the tour’s Detailed Itinerary.
