The Women’s Travel Network was born out of both necessity. Founder Debbie Ross had a desire to see the world, but her partner wasn’t interested in the same destinations, and her friends didn’t have the time or enthusiasm to join her. So she took a leap and planned a group tour to Tuscany, Italy, not knowing if anyone would want to come along.
To her surprise, a group of adventurous women joined her, and they called themselves “The Babes on the Bus.” That trip sparked lasting friendships (they still hold reunions to this day!) and laid the foundation for something much bigger.
Debbie soon realized she wasn’t alone. Many women love to travel but don’t always have someone to go with, or don’t feel comfortable setting out solo. The Women’s Travel Network was created to bring these women together, offering them a safe, welcoming, and fun environment to explore the world, connect, and create lifelong memories.
More than 20 years later, WTN has helped thousands of women travel with confidence and joy, forming friendships and seeing the world, together.
