Our adventure began at the Grand Egyptian Museum (The GEM), even though it was only partially open at the time. Still, its grandeur was spectacular. Little did we know that this was just the beginning. The wonders of the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx left us thrilled, and this was only day one!

A Delightful Felucca Ride

One of the highlights of our trip was a felucca ride around beautiful Kitchener’s Island, the former home of the Agha Khan. Accompanied by Nubian sailors who sang their local folk songs and danced with us, it was a truly special afternoon, filled with cultural immersion and connection.

Our journey took us off the beaten track to places like Sakkara, Dahshur, Karnak, and Kom Ombo, where we discovered the hidden treasures of historic pyramids and temples.
