With our excellent guide, Stephanie, a lot of ground was covered in our 3-hour walking tour of  the old town of Nice.

We began on the Promenade des Anglais. The sun was shining, the sea shimmered and the temperature was perfect.

Then we turned into Cours Saleya and strolled through the market.

Then into the narrow streets of the vieille ville.

The afternoon was free and some climbed up the castle hill to enjoy the view. Others took the hop on/hop off bus, visited the Musée Chagall or shopped. No jet lag here!

The day ended with another fine meal. Santé!

We’re here! A safe arrival in Nice on Monday, June 6, was followed by a fabulous dinner at the Beau Rivage Plage restaurant at the edge of the sparkling Mediterranean.
